Position SummaryWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced SHE Project Engineer to join our team at the Beverage factory in Dalston. You will support the factory on all matters related to Health and Safety as well as education and training relating to an upcoming CAPEX project at the site. Nestlé Dalston Factory in Cumbria is the European Centre for cappuccino and creamers producing a range of beverage products.
These are produced through a highly automated PLC controlled process plant and automated filling and packing lines. It is continually developing and expanding leading brands such as Nescafé, Aero Hot Chocolate and Coffeemate. The factory is moving forward with continuous improvement principles and actively developing Lean/TPM processes so it’s an exciting time to be involved.

- Execute the SHE plans and deliver training for PTW and contractor management for both projects and the site teams.
- Emphasis on coaching, assessment, and review of contractor activities and those responsible for contractor management.
- Represent the SHE Function & act as the local point of contact for all contractor management enquiries.
- Undertake machinery risk assessments and ensure full compliance to the modes of intervention.

- Relevant PUWER and Machinery Safety Experience

- Previous experience of working in FMCG and projects environment
- Previous experience of safety management
- Six Sigma White belt
