The successful, longstanding and hugely innovative organisation is one of the major players in the production of a superb range of tools for metalwork including turning, grooving, milling and boring. Their products are sold into the Manufacturing, Automotive and Aerospace sectors. To further strengthen their team, they have a current requirement for a talented Regional Applications Engineer.

The role utilises both technical and commercial skills, supporting the development of customer relationships within direct and distribution networks. You will work within the sales team and report to the Regional Manager. The role will cover the West Midlands (alongside another RAE based in the northern part of the area), supporting four Area Sales Managers, and will promote a range of high-quality cutting tools and solutions across the Manufacturing, Automotive, and Aerospace sectors.

• Develop and maintain customer relationships within direct and distribution networks.
• Support the sales team and report to the Regional Manager.
• Promote and sell high-quality cutting tools and solutions across various sectors.
• Cover the West Midlands region, collaborating with an RAE in the northern part.
• Work independently, target-driven and disciplined.

• Strong CNC background; experience as a Miller, Turner, Setter or Operator.
• ONC/HNC Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent technical apprenticeship.
• Experience in cutting-tool sales (with distributors or direct customers) is desirable but not essential.
• CAD/CAM experience is highly beneficial.
• Disciplined, target-driven individual capable of working on own initiative.
