Contract Length: 12 Months 37 hours per week – Onsite Full tile Rate: £39.51 PAYE or £53.25 umbrella inside ir35 Overview Are you an experienced Aerodynamicist looking to work on some of the UK's most advanced aerospace programmes? BAE Systems is seeking a talented Senior Aerodynamicist to join their Flight Sciences Engineering team, where you'll play a key role in delivering innovative solutions across current and future air platforms.

Please note you must be a Sole UK national and eligible for SC clearance

Key Responsibilities Provide aerodynamic engineering support across a wide range of current and future BAE Systems Air programmes. Undertake aerodynamic research, design, computational analysis, simulation and testing. Support flight clearance activities for complex air vehicles. Contribute to the development and evolution of aerodynamic toolsets and digital engineering capabilities. Collaborate with customers, suppliers, research organisations and engineering partners. Ensure engineering activities are delivered in accordance with company governance, quality standards and Agile ways of working.

Promote a strong safety culture by adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental (SHE) policies and procedures. Key Skills Minimum of 5 years' post-graduate experience within an aerodynamics research or industrial environment. Strong technical knowledge in one or more specialist aerodynamic disciplines. Experience working collaboratively with customers, suppliers and multidisciplinary engineering teams. Excellent communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills. Degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Aerospace Engineering or another relevant STEM discipline.
