We are looking for a hardworking enthusiastic individual that has previous experience and wants to work within the plastics industry. Responsibilities include;
Conducting preventative maintenance on all plant machinery Attending machine breakdowns and carrying out repairs/change overs efficiently, to ensure minimum down time Troubleshooting and fault-finding defects on machinery and carrying out repairs as necessary Ensuring adequate supply of essential parts and ordering of parts when required Updating records and maintenance logs Maintaining the upkeep of all working areas Fabricating work may also be required Ensuring compliance with the Companys policies;
including Health & Safety Observing and complying with all good working practices within the company Carrying out any other reasonable request made by management, to support departmental or company objectives Maintenance Engineer Person Specification; A minimum of 3 years experience in Heavy Plant / Machinery maintenance Must have experience within the plastics industry Knowledge electrics engines, transmission, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems Be hard working and conscientious using initiative to reach suitable resolutions without constant supervision Ability to follow instructions and prioritise workload in systematic order Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team demonstrating a good work ethic Excellent organisation and communication skills A good understanding of Health & Safety If you are interested in the role as Maintenance Engineer then please apply now by sending your CV today.
