B1.1 Licensed Engineer
Department: Engineering
Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time
Location: European SAO (ESAO)
Reporting To: Lee Wilkinson
Description- Carry out base maintenance activities and certify work within your company approval
- Fault diagnosis/rectification on operational aircraft in Malta and abroad
- Assist with aircraft surveys by other agencies
- Embody modifications
- Support maintenance/defect rectification of all other aircraft types as required
- Ensure working practices are carried out within Part 145 regulations
- Work with the Mission Systems team to address systems issues
Essential
- Holder of an unrestricted EASA Part 66 Licence in the categories stated above.
- Must have at least 1 type.
- Right to work in the UK
- A good understanding of Part 145 regulations
Desirable
- Holder of an unrestricted UK CAA Part 66 Licence in the categories stated above.
- Type Ratings to include KA300, 200 & E90
- Type Ratings to include Diamond DA40, DA42 & DA62
- Demonstrable recency on DEA aircraft types
- Methodical and calm
- Ability to continually manage conflicting demands and prioritise tasks and workload to meet deadlines
- Continually demonstrate a positive attitude to work and operate as part of a team with the ability to motivate colleagues with enthusiasm
- Remain calm under pressure and encourage others to do the same.
- Adopt a flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Apply strategic thinking and analysis to problem solving by gathering & analysing relevant information
- Communicate clearly and effectively.
- Continually demonstrate a personal commitment to the Company’s health, safety and environmental procedures, ensuring they are always implemented and respected

- Medically fit to perform daily engineering duties including detachment working

- HF Initial/Continuation
- SMS Training
- Aircraft Maintainers License (EASA Pt-66 B1)
- Type Approved on KA 90/200/300 or Diamond DA42/62
Preferred
- Aircraft Maintainers Licence (CAA Pt-66 B1)
- Type Approved on all DEA platforms
