About the Practice

Alsager Vets for Pets is a standalone surgery on the main street in Alsager, light and spacious, and equipped with state‑of‑the‑art equipment. It is run locally by Carl (RVN), who qualified in 1995 and has extensive experience in wound management, radiography, and surgery.

This is a full‑time role working both early and late shifts between 8:30am and 7pm, plus 1 in 4 Saturday mornings from 9am to 12pm.

• Greet each client and offer support, guidance, and expertise.
• Manage payments and future bookings confidently.
• Coordinate the smooth running of day‑to‑day routines using the online booking system.
• Provide guidance to clients about practice services and any additional services available.
• Assist clients during emotional moments, such as comforting after bad news or sharing the joy of a new puppy’s first visit.
• Maintain a welcoming and friendly atmosphere with colleagues.

• Experience as a Receptionist is beneficial.
• High computer literacy and ability to use an online booking system.
• Calm, attentive, customer‑focused, enthusiastic, and able to handle a busy environment.
• Passion for service and love of pets.

Starting salary from £13 per hour, dependent on experience.
