Commercial/Financial Accountant
. Our client, an expanding thriving property design, refurbishment and maintenance business, is looking for a proactive, disciplined, motivated and results-oriented candidate to take the lead for this Commercial Finance Accountant role, working closely with the wider management team and operational staff. You ideally will have worked in property maintenance, building management or facilities management. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate management accounts, supporting key business decisions, and driving continuous improvement across processes.

• Working closely with the Management team and Operations team to manage the Commercials of the work from costing of the work through to completion.
• Close liaison with external clients and all department internally
• Tracking, reporting and management of all costings
• Sales and overhead forecasting
• Day to day running the company finances - day to day accounts
• Payment processing
• Credit management, invoicing, cash collection
• Balancing, management of banking
• Preparation and presentation of monthly/annual accounts
• VAT Returns
• Budget management

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA part-qualified (or equivalent).
• Systems used Zero, Big Change, AI
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking and challenge
• Highly organised with excellent prioritisation skills.
• A cooperative relationship builder who challenges the status quo and drives improvement.
• Energetic, positive, and able to meet deadlines.
• This role is working from the office location daily

• Salary - c £55 - 60k (negotiable on experience/background)
• Working Hours Monday - Friday 40 hours per week
• Holiday allowance 25 days plus bank holiday
• Other benefits to include Pension, death in service and the client is currently looking at additional benefits to offer future employees
