As a Product Manager, you will work with the team to redesign and rebuild many of our products for better alignment with our new lending platform, scheduled for launch as part of our transformation programme. This varied role involves managing mortgage product launches into the residential market, amending details of unregulated bridging products, and conducting annual reviews to ensure products meet customer requirements.
Together with the team you will manage the product set day‑to‑day, enact pricing changes and collaborate across the business to identify future opportunities to improve the product set and drive lending performance.
- Ensure that our product set is designed to support customer needs and drive commercial performance, and that it is delivered as intended.
- Support effective risk management for products by identifying key risks and implementing mitigants; embed good conduct in product design and performance.
- Complete periodic product review and renovation, and lead innovation activity to meet emerging customer needs.
- Find opportunities to continuously drive performance and improve products by gathering qualitative and quantitative insight into product performance.
- Lead initiatives to drive and measure commercial finance product performance, and to set and monitor performance KPIs and customer outcomes.
- Proven ability to push projects over the finish line with sound planning and persistent execution.
- Strong analytical skills: define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Good operational knowledge of how a business works, key success indicators, and where to anticipate trouble.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Strong communication skills – internally and externally, one‑to‑one and in groups/presentations.
