Client Details

I'm working with a large, fast-growing international organisation who are looking to appoint a Senior Accountant to join their expanding finance team. With operations across multiple global markets and continued expansion into new territories, the business offers excellent long-term career progression, strong benefits, and the opportunity to get involved in a variety of high-profile projects as new roles emerge.

This position sits within a specialist finance function supporting the organisation's international operations, particularly across North America. The role offers exposure to a dynamic, evolving environment where you will work closely with senior stakeholders and play a key role in supporting new market launches and strengthening financial reporting frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overseeing financial reporting requirements across assigned international territories
  • Supporting the financial setup and reporting frameworks for newly launched markets
  • Preparing and reviewing complex reconciliations and analysing large datasets
  • Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure reporting accuracy
  • Coordinating external reviews and audits where required
  • Developing and strengthening internal controls and reporting processes
  • Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes, and efficiencies
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members within the wider team
Profile
  • The ideal candidate must be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • This role would suit a 1st time mover with a super inquisitive personality or someone qualified in industry who has experience working with complex reconciliations and large volumes of financial data
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with the ability to work with senior stakeholders
  • Experience of working in a heavily regulated environment would be advantageous
Job Offer
  • A competitive salary ranging from £48,000 to £51,000 per annum.
  • Annual bonus up to 10%
  • Pension contribution matched at 7.5%
  • Hybrid working with 3 days in office, 2 at home
