Purchase Ledger Clerk

Your New Company An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a well-established business based in the Cheadle area.

Your New Role
Working as part of a small, close-knit finance team, this role will play a key part in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of a high volume of purchase invoices.

This is a fast-paced position suited to someone who thrives in a busy environment and has strong attention to detail.
As Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for:

• Processing a high volume of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
• Matching, batching and coding invoices
• Resolving invoice queries with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Reconciling supplier statements
• Managing payment runs
• Assisting with month-end processes
• Maintaining accurate records within the finance system

• Previous experience in a high-volume purchase ledger role
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a small team environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience using COINS software would be highly advantageous.
• Confident working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting
