Corporate Tax Manager | Firm | Hybrid | Private Medical

A leading and ambitious accountancy and advisory firm is seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to join its growing Tax Consultancy team in Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for a CTA-qualified tax professional looking to take ownership of a varied portfolio, deliver high-quality advisory and compliance services, and play a key role in mentoring and developing junior team members.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing complex corporate tax computations and returns prepared by junior team members.
• Providing technical guidance, training and mentoring to Tax Assistants, Seniors and Assistant Managers.
• Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients and ensuring exceptional client service.
• Delivering proactive tax planning and advisory solutions.
• Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders to provide tailored tax advice.
• Monitoring work progress, recoverability and billing across your portfolio.
• Supporting recruitment activities, including graduate and experienced hire recruitment.
• Undertaking formal line management responsibilities.

To be considered, you will have:

• At least 3+ years' experience in Corporate Tax Compliance and Advisory.
• Strong technical corporate tax knowledge.
• Excellent client-facing and relationship management skills.
• Experience reviewing work and mentoring junior team members.
• The ability to communicate complex tax matters clearly and effectively.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Experience with Alphatax would be advantageous but is not essential.
