Senior Group Finance Manager
As a Senior Group Finance Manager you will play a pivotal role leading the Financial Control team, currently made up of 8 people. The team is responsible for accurate and timely month‑end reporting, production of complex financial disclosure notes and control schedules.
You will oversee the accuracy of all information produced in line with the Financial Control Framework, provide technical support for complex accounting areas including the Group’s interest‑rate swap portfolio, expected credit losses and special purpose funding vehicles, and shape the future of the Financial Control team’s processes.
Stakeholder management is key: you will develop and nurture effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Group Finance, other business teams, auditors and external parties.

- Lead the Financial Control Team in preparing accurate month‑end reporting for the Group and its subsidiaries.
- Ensure accuracy of detailed balance sheet analyses and accompanying management information.
- Provide required information to internal and external auditors.
- Assist all other areas of the business with accounting support.
- Account for the Group’s growing interest‑rate swap portfolio end to end.
- Maintain and ensure compliance with the Group Financial Control Framework.
- Manage teams and development.
- Provide accounting advice and technical accounting papers as required.
- Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Account for Special Purpose Debt Vehicles.
- Manage IFRS 9 expected credit loss processes and controls.
- Continuously scrutinise processes to maximise efficiencies and controls.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Extensive technical accounting experience.
- Experience communicating and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of GL accounting systems, cashbook and purchase ledger systems.
- Ability to work with stakeholders to identify requirements and appropriate solutions.
- Moderate computer skills; reasonable experience in Excel and Microsoft Office suite.
- Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent).
