Purchase Ledger Clerk

We are actively seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk for a highly reputable company in Cheadle. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very successful business on a permanent basis. The main duties include:

• Supplier relationship management
• Raise weekly payment runs
• Post journals for ad‑hoc supplier payments
• Liaise with all departments to resolve supplier invoice & PO queries.
• Match, batch and post circa 280 invoices per week
• Allocate purchase ledger transactions and resolve cashbook queries
• Review and reconcile supplier statements
• Work collaboratively across all finance functions

Our client is looking for a candidate who has:

• Purchase Ledger experience
• Good Excel skills
• Experience of working in a fast paced environment
