Finance Manager | c.£50,000–£70,000 + Bonus + Company Car | Stoke-on-Trent | Manufacturing | On-Site | Relocation Package Available Axon Moore is delighted to be partnering with a well-established, market-leading manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Finance Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful organisation with a strong reputation in its sector. Working closely with senior leadership, operations, and project teams, you'll play a key role in driving financial performance, delivering commercial insight, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.

This is a hands-on position responsible for leading a small finance team and partnering with stakeholders across the organisation. The role offers genuine long-term career prospects, including the opportunity to progress towards a Director position as the business continues to develop. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts and cash flow reporting.
• Deliver P&L analysis, KPI reporting and contract performance reporting to support commercial decision-making.
• Partner with operational teams to improve profitability, identify efficiencies and support business performance.
• Provide financial insight into operational and project performance.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and support the year-end audit process.
• Lead, mentor and develop a small finance team while driving continuous improvement across finance processes.

About You

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or qualified by experience).
• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of contract performance accounting.
• Experience managing or mentoring a finance team.
• Commercially minded with strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capability.
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders across the business.
