Senior Group Finance Manager

Role Overview

Senior Group Finance Manager responsible for leading a team of eight accountants, ensuring accurate and timely month‑end reporting of P&L and balance sheet information, supporting complex accounting areas such as interest‑rate swaps, expected credit losses (ECL) and special purpose debt vehicles, and maintaining compliance with the Group Financial Control Framework.

• Lead the Financial Control Team in preparation of accurate month‑end reporting for the Group and its subsidiaries.
• Ensure accuracy of detailed balance sheet analyses and accompanying management information.
• Provide necessary information to internal and external auditors.
• Assist other business areas with information and liaison.
• Execute end‑to‑end accounting for the Group’s interest‑rate swap portfolio.
• Maintain and enforce compliance with the Group Financial Control Framework.
• Manage team development and coaching.
• Provide accounting advice and technical papers as required.
• Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including divisional finance and external auditors.
• Account for Special Purpose Debt Vehicles.
• Oversee IFRS9 expected credit loss processes and controls.
• Continuously review processes to maximise efficiencies and controls.
