We’re looking for a Workday Payroll specialist to help our client with their end of Q4 payroll duties.
Location: Bristol HQ – Hybrid (3 days p/w on site).
Duration: 2 months.
Base pay range: Direct message the job poster from Sanderson.

• Processing monthly end‑to‑end payroll.
• Check, control and maintain amendments to employee pay and IME.
• Calculate and prepare international salary, tax and pension payments.
• Reconcile and provide returns and associated payments to internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintenance of specific controls and control documentation for line management.
• Support employees with payroll related queries.
• Deal with high volume queries across all levels, demonstrating great customer care.
• Carry out ad hoc requests as required in an accurate and timely manner.
• Liaise with our third‑party payroll provider.

• Previous experience managing large payrolls with differing levels of complexity – ideally on Workday.
• Knowledge of Tax & NI rules.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication at all levels within the organisation and externally.
• Adaptable and able to react quickly to changing priorities.
• Formal qualification preferable but understanding how to calculate pay is more important.
• Great organisational skills – prioritise workload, work independently and be a team player.
• High level Excel proficiency.
