Quantitative Trader

L.Knighton is working with a well-established global proprietary trading firm operating across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Our client is seeking experienced traders or trading teams with a recent track record of success using proven, prop-style strategies to join the team in London.

• Generate, evaluate, and execute trading strategies across one or more major asset classes.
• Collaborate with leadership and risk teams to align portfolio construction with firm-wide capital allocation, risk appetite, and market access.
• Provide clear reporting on performance, exposure, and risk metrics; participate in ongoing strategy reviews.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience within a proprietary trading firm.
• Demonstrated track record with at least 2 years in a principal risk-taking role with direct P&L ownership.
• Ability to clearly communicate and evidence your trading strategy.
• Strong ethical character, integrity, and self-accountability.

• Significant autonomy and direct ownership of your risk and PnL.
