Associate – Infrastructure Credit

Our client, an established global investment platform is seeking an Associate to join its Infrastructure Credit team in London. Offering great exposure to work across the capital stack through direct, fund, and co-investments, focusing on non-investment grade opportunities within the infrastructure space.

This is a unique opportunity to join a globally recognised institution with a strong track record in real assets and private markets, with exposure to transactions across sectors such as energy, digital infrastructure, utilities, and transport.

The Role

As an Associate
, you will play an integral role in the origination, underwriting, and execution of infrastructure credit investments across Europe and globally. The role will involve:

  • Supporting the underwriting, modelling, and execution of infrastructure credit transactions, primarily in the junior and mezzanine (non-investment grade) space.
  • Preparing investment papers and presenting recommendations to senior investment staff and credit committees.
  • Participating in deal screening, structuring, pricing, due diligence, and documentation.
  • Engaging with external stakeholders, including banks, advisors, management teams, and co-investors.
  • Supporting portfolio management, including fund commitments and co-investment opportunities.
  • Assisting with the asset management of existing credit investments.
The Candidate

We are looking for individuals with:

  • 2–4 years’ experience in infrastructure debt/finance or advisory (leveraged finance, structured finance, or high‑yield capital markets also considered).
  • Strong technical and analytical ability, with experience in building financial models and credit underwriting.
  • Exposure to European infrastructure debt markets; experience across US or emerging markets is an advantage.
  • A rigorous, detail‑oriented approach and a solid understanding of infrastructure sub‑sectors and debt structures.
  • Excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced investment environment.
