The Licensing Team sit within City Compliance and Security Team in Housing, Regeneration Operations. They are responsible for processing applications made in relation to the Licensing Act, Gambling Act, Taxi and Private Hire Licensing alongside others.
Key Responsibilities- Check applications when they are submitted
- Verify accompanying documents such a Right to Work
- Process applications in required timescales
- Answer queries and questions, providing information as and when required
- Assist with new driver training and assessment
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to use a range of IT packages
- Knowledge of licensing issues
- Experience of working within a busy environment office
