Hi, I'm Beth. I'm a level 2 qualified hair stylist. I started my training at Suffolk new college and then transferred to Alan D Hairdressing Education, within my training I was also working in the salon (Heavenly Hair) to get the best of being in the salon environment. In 2021 I also worked with Karoliina Saunders on the published collection 'Salon to Session' assisting on the shoot, assisting the girls in the salon to session group (Kimberley Fletcher, Gemma New, Janene Bush and Abby Quin). This was one of the best opportunities to know what its like to work on a professional photo shoot.

Not long after that shoot our salon had the opportunity to work with Phil Collins on a photo-shoot to create a project for the salon. Working with Phil gave us a variety of different things to think about outside of our main idea.

Whilst working in the salon i have been able to specailise in a few different areas within the industry. Some things i have been able to specailise in is Nanokeratin, which in a smoothing treatment for those clients who are struggling to tame the frizz in there hair or for those who would like to loosen out there natural curl to make it more manageable.

i am also a specialist in Balmain hair extensions and i am working on making clients more aware the advantages of hair extensions because they can be used for more than just adding length. i am also know in the salon to be a specailise in all colour work especially the bright colours.

With in the salon i have also had the opportunity to attend quite a few award evenings/events which is where i have been able to talk to more people within the industry to find out more areas within hairdressing. we attended the Salon Awards in November of 2022 and i won the Colourest Of The Year.

Creative, directional and innovative, being forward thinking is essential when considering my guests needs. Short hair and barbering are both specialty’s. Although also a colour specialist to, colouring to the cut is so very important.

An educator and assessor ensures consistent training and constant learning and great delivery of training.

We are recruiting a Fully qualified experienced Hairdresser! In the last few years we have had a decrease of 35000 hairdressers in the industry, coupled with an increase of hairdressers working self employed (72%) this doesn’t leave many employable hairdressers for the whole of the country.
