Overview

Are you an experienced Support Worker looking to progress in your career? This role offers opportunities to gain qualifications, access specialist training, take on more responsibility and earn more money. Community Integrated Care is recruiting for an Advanced Support Worker with flexible shift patterns. You will support adults with learning disabilities and autism who have complex needs to lead the best life possible.

Responsibilities

We are a residential care service set in large grounds with strong links to Stockport and Manchester. The home houses 12 people, each with their own room and en-suite bathroom, sharing a communal living area. You will:

  • Spend your shift with the person you support, making a meaningful and person-centred impact on their life
  • Provide support according to individual care plans and packages

Note:

This service employs 10-12 Advanced Support Workers on site during the day and 4-5 at night; there are around 45 colleagues employed here. There is a full-time vacancy on day shifts.

Qualifications

Prior experience of working in care is required for this role. A Level 3 in Social Care is desirable. If you have a strong background as a support worker with specialist training or other relevant skills, we will provide the support you need to succeed.
