As an Optometrist at Boots, you’ll play a key role in delivering brilliant patient care – using the latest tech, working alongside experienced colleagues, and supporting your community with clinical excellence. • Leads clinics and delivers outstanding patient care.
• Uses the latest testing technology to assess eye health and provide expert advice.
• Provides enhanced services, from triage support to advanced assessments, depending on store needs.
• Offers clinical support to colleagues on the shop floor.
• Collaborates with external health‑care professionals.
• Maintains and shares up‑to‑date clinical knowledge with others.
• Plays a key role in the store’s leadership team, bringing energy and insight to every shift.

• Confident, compassionate Optometrist focused on patient care.
• GOC registered (or expecting to be within 6 months).
• NHS performer number (or working towards it).
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Genuine interest in patient care and team collaboration.

• Experience supporting enhanced services.
• A strong understanding of local clinical networks.
