Job Overview

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Support Worker to join our Wiltshire Service based in Semington Trowbridge, helping to oversee and deliver high‑quality support. You will report to the Registered Manager and split your time between hands‑on support and leadership/administrative tasks to ensure the service runs smoothly. This is a varied and rewarding role with plenty of opportunity to make an impact.

the people you’ll be supporting

You’ll support three female clients with learning disabilities and/or autism, each with unique needs, preferences, and routines. Your role is to help them live safe, happy, and meaningful lives while ensuring their care is consistent, person‑centred, and of the highest quality.

Location

Semington Trowbridge, Wiltshire.

Key responsibilities
  • Encourage people to play active roles in their communities and promote independence.
  • Support activities of daily living, including social activities, personal care, routines, planning, meal preparation, and budgeting.
  • Communicate effectively using people’s chosen methods.
  • Engage by promoting and motivating those you support to enhance their quality of life.
  • Specialise in providing positive behavioural support where needed.
  • Record keeping and reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team and independently as required.
Qualifications and requirements
  • Minimum 12 months on your right to work.
  • Full UK driver’s licence.
  • Level 2 in Health and Social Care and willingness to work towards Level 3.
