Specialist Dietitian

Specialist Dietitian - Frailty & Malnutrition Service (North Staffordshire)

We're looking for an experienced dietitian to lead the clinical delivery of a new 12-month pilot service tackling malnutrition and frailty in care homes and the community across North Staffordshire.

This is an autonomous role - you'll diagnose using GLIM criteria, lead food-first care plans, and help build the evidence base that shapes future commissioning decisions.

• 0.6 WTE (22.5 hrs/week)
• Fixed-term, 12 months

• Autonomous specialist assessments and malnutrition diagnosis (GLIM criteria)
• Leading individualised, food-first care plans across care homes and community caseloads
• Clinical supervision of our Nutrition Assistant
• Collecting outcome data that will directly inform the service's future

• Genuine clinical autonomy in a brand new service
• Regular clinical supervision
• Access to PCD's national dietitian network
• Fully sponsored attendance at ESPEN Congress

You'll need: HCPC registration, 3+ years post-registration experience, and a full UK driving licence.
