About the PharmacySituated within a busy GP Health Centre, the pharmacy benefits from a strong relationship with the surgery, offering excellent potential to increase prescription volume and further expand clinical services.
The pharmacy currently dispenses approximately 12,000 prescription items per month.
You'll be supported by an experienced and dedicated team including:
- Accredited Checking Technician (ACT)
- Experienced Pharmacy Supervisor (7 years' service)
- Dispenser
- Counter Assistant
The pharmacy provides a wide range of NHS services including:
- Pharmacy First
- NHS Vaccinations
- NHS Clinical Services
As Pharmacy Manager, you will have the autonomy to lead the pharmacy whilst working closely with the owners to continue growing the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the day-to-day running of the pharmacy
- Delivering exceptional patient care
- Growing Pharmacy First and NHS clinical services
- Driving business development and increasing prescription volume
- Creating a positive, supportive working environment
- Leading and motivating an established pharmacy team
- Ensuring the pharmacy operates safely, efficiently and compliantly
We're looking for someone who is passionate about community pharmacy and enjoys developing both people and services.
You will have:- GPhC Registration (essential)
- Ideally 2+ years' post-registration experience (although strong newly qualified Pharmacists will be considered)
- Experience delivering Pharmacy First and vaccination services
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- A proactive approach to business development
- A passion for delivering outstanding patient care
£25.00- £27.00 per hour (£52,000 basic salary)
Performance bonus
Monday to Friday working pattern
Opportunity to do IP after 1 year employment- fully paid
No Sunday working (rotational Saturdays)
33 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays)
