Service Area: Cath Lab
The Opportunity We are currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Cardiac Radiographer to join a busy and dynamic Cath Lab team in Stoke. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled radiographer with extensive cardiac imaging experience to work within a highly specialised clinical environment on an ongoing basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and support a range of Cath Lab imaging procedures.
• Operate specialised Philips imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Provide imaging support for:
  • Coronary angiography
  • TAVI procedures
  • Fluoroscopy-guided cardiac interventions
  • Other complex cardiac procedures
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and care throughout all examinations and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Work collaboratively with cardiologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Adhere to NHS protocols, radiation protection regulations, and departmental policies.

Essential Requirements

• HCPC registered Radiographer.
• Extensive experience working within a Cardiac Cath Lab environment.
• Strong knowledge of coronary angiography, TAVI, and fluoroscopy-guided procedures.
• Experience operating Philips imaging systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.
