We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to work as a Clinical Administrator supporting the Bone and Soft Tissue Team within the Musculoskeletal Service at Freeman Hospital.
You will work closely with the Consultants and clinical teams, supporting the work of our department in the provision of an efficient and effective service.
The team offers regional and national services for both adults, and paediatrics and the role provides this diversity.
The successful candidate should possess a professional attitude to their work and can work flexibly in a busy environment with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will be expected to work flexibly to support the Directorate and be willing to embrace change.

The successful candidate will work alongside Senior Medical Secretaries, and other Clinical Administrators, carrying out secretarial duties which will include, but are not limited to; data entry, making and receiving telephone calls, clinical and non-clinical typing, use of the hospital patient administration system, co-ordination of patient’s records/test results, co-ordination of outpatient clinics, diary management.
The successful candidate will provide direct support to a team of Consultants and Specialist Nurses, ensuring effective diary management and ensuring clinical documentation is completed in a timely manner. Processing of referrals and direct patient enquiries is also a requirement of the role, communicating with Carers and multi-disciplinary teams as per clinical requirement.
