You will undertake a range of essential HR administrative tasks on a daily basis. Your attention to detail and organisations skills will be crucial in maintaining efficient HR processes. Based at our offices in Stoke-on-Trent, you will support the delivery of a first class service to all our stakeholders working together to drive business growth. Experience as an Administrator is preferred but previous experience in human resources is not necessary as comprehensive training will be provided, covering our specific HR systems and administrative processes.
The day-to-day work is interesting and fast paced. You will initially focus on absence processing, conducting any required background checks for new starters and processing employee updates whilst gradually expanding your portfolio of tasks and responsibilities as your knowledge and experience develops.,
- Managing the end-to-end process for new starters, including accurate completion of all necessary documentation and conducting right to work checks in line with statutory requirements
- Coordinating and verifying employment references and other essential background checks, ensuring all records are meticulously maintained according to internal policies and procedures
- Processing absence across the business, maintaining up-to-date records and responding to management queries where necessary
- Supporting HR processes throughout the entire employee lifecycle
- Maintaining accuracy, integrity, confidentiality and discretion at all times

- Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail whilst working to tight deadlines
- Highly self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook, Word and Excel
- Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
- Hands on approach with experience of working in a fast-paced environment
