We are recruiting on behalf of a technology consulting firm that specializes in assuring the UK's National Infrastructure. You will be joining a high-performing team where your growth is a priority, transitioning from an IT Support focus toward a Junior Infrastructure Engineer pathway. As an IT Support Engineer, you will provide essential 1st and 2nd line support while gaining deep exposure to the Microsoft ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities- M365 Administration: Managing Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Entra .
- Cloud Operations: Supporting Azure fundamentals, including VMs, networking, and storage.
- Security & Compliance: Utilizing Intune for endpoint management and implementing Defender and Conditional Access policies.
- Automation: Using Power Shell to script routine tasks and improve efficiency.
- Infrastructure: Troubleshooting networking (DNS, DHCP, VPN) and hardware issues.
- Proven experience in M365 and Azure environments.
- A functional understanding of Power Shell for automation.
- Familiarity with modern security tooling (Defender/Purview).
- A genuine desire to pursue Microsoft certifications (AZ-900, MS-900, SC-900) which the company will actively support.
