This IT Technician post sits in the Laurus Trust's IT team, which supports the Trust's 6 secondary, 6 primary, 4 sixth form and 1 alternative provision schools. The work centres on first-line support for staff and students, plus help maintaining network infrastructure. The team serves over 10,000 users in a fast-paced setting. Whatthe job involves
- First-line technical support so staff and students have reliable access to technology
- Providing technical support and maintenance of IT across Trust schools
- Assisting with maintenance of network infrastructure
- GCSEs in Maths and English at grade A
* to C or equivalent
- Prior experience in a similar IT-based role
- Computer hardware technical knowledge
