Insurance Advisor - Personal Lines

Location: Stoke-On-Trent

If you enjoy working with clients, providing great service and want to build a long-term career in insurance, this is an excellent opportunity to join a major, highly recognised insurance broking brand in Northampton. You’ll become part of an established local team, working with customers across a range of personal insurance requirements while developing your technical knowledge, confidence and insurance career.

Whether you already have Personal Lines experience or have built strong customer service and sales skills within insurance or financial services, you’ll receive the training, support and backing to develop further. The role You’ll be a key point of contact for customers, helping them arrange and manage the right insurance cover while building relationships that encourage them to return year after year.

Your day will include:
Speaking with new and existing customers about their insurance needs Providing quotations and discussing suitable cover Handling renewals and policy amendments Identifying opportunities to support customers with additional insurance requirements Building strong, long-term customer relationships Liaising with insurers to achieve the right outcomes Developing your product and technical insurance knowledge This is a role for someone who enjoys speaking with people, solving problems and providing a genuinely good customer experience.

Who we're looking for? You could already be working as a:
Personal Lines Insurance Advisor Insurance Advisor Personal Lines Account Handler Insurance Broker Customer Service Advisor within insurance Sales Advisor within insurance or financial services or another retail sector. You’ll ideally bring some insurance experience, although we’re also interested in people with a strong customer-focused sales background who are genuinely motivated to develop a career within the industry. Most importantly, you’ll be confident speaking with customers, commercially aware, organised and keen to learn.

Working environment The role is predominantly office based in Northampton.

Hours:

Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm, plus one Saturday morning in two supporting telephone enquiries. You’ll receive time off in lieu for the Saturday worked. Rewards & Benefits Alongside a competitive salary and reward package, you’ll benefit from:
