Location: Stoke-on-Trent
We are recruiting for a Claims Handler (Part-Time), on behalf of a small Property Insurance company.
Key Responsibilities- Handling incoming claims (ROCs – Record of Change), reviewing and liaising with customers.
- Liaising with on-site staff to understand claim details.
- Investigating and resolving customer complaints.
- Managing new job entries, contacting customers and scheduling technician appointments.
- Updating systems daily with claims progress and revised finish dates.
- Communicating with field staff on claims progression.
- Uploading RAMs (Risk Assessment and Method Statements) for job resketchments.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a claims handler in insurance (flood/fire, domestic property ideal).
- Comfortable managing detail and keeping accurate records.
- Well suited to someone wanting flexibility, e.g. returning from maternity/paternity leave.
