The Ocean 4PL Customer experience consultant serves as the central coordinator for inbound ocean freight operations, managing the end-to-end movement of cargo from suppliers to final delivery locations. Acting as a control tower and single point of contact, this role overseeslogisticsproviders, ensures shipment visibility, drives operational excellence, supports compliance requirements, and delivers cost-efficient transportation solutions whilemaintaininghigh service levels.

Key responsibilities:

Manage inbound ocean freight operations from purchase order planning through final delivery.

Coordinate shipment planning, booking activities, and containerutilizationoptimization.

Oversee relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, andlogisticspartners.

Monitor shipment milestones and proactively manage delays and exceptions.

Ensure documentation accuracy, trade compliance, andcustomsreadiness.

Coordinate destination handling, inland transportation, and deliveryscheduling.

Track freight costs,validateinvoices, andidentifycost-saving opportunities.

Prepare KPI reports and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Who we are looking for:

Someone with:

Experience in ocean freight,logistics, supply chain, or freightforwardingoperations.

Knowledge of ocean transportation, customs procedures, Incoterms, and shipping documentation.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Analytical mindset with experience monitoring KPIs andlogisticsperformance.

Ability to resolve operational issues and manage exceptions in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency with TMS, ERP systems, and visibility platforms.

Continuous improvement and customer-focused approach.

Data driven & cost-efficient mindset, being able to understand complex scenarios and drive desired outcomes.

Business oriented approach, understanding the impact of your decisions on our customers.

Fluency in English, both written & spoken.
