College Cleaner – Stoke-on-Trent – Temporary Contract

Location: Stoke-on-Trent (ST4 area)

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour (PAYE)

Hours: 15 hours per week

Working Pattern: Monday – Friday, 15:00 – 18:00

Contract Type: Temporary

Contract Duration: February 2026 – March 2026

A facilities services provider is recruiting for a Cleaner to support cleaning services within a college environment in Stoke-on-Trent. This role is ideal for someone reliable, thorough and able to maintain high hygiene standards within an educational setting.

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors and communal areas
• Cleaning staff facilities and washrooms
• Hoovering, mopping, dusting and sanitising surfaces
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly
• Following health & safety and safeguarding procedures

• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and reliability
• Understanding of hygiene and safety standards
• Right to work in the UK

Due to the working environment, successful applicants must be able to complete:

• Enhanced DBS Check (with relevant barred list)
• Provide proof of address
• Provide 3 years employment or education references
• Overseas police check may be required where applicable
