Job Introduction

We’re looking for a Domestic Laundry Assistant to join our Sodexo team at Royal Stoke Hospital .In this vital role, you’ll help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your work will directly support health andwellbeing throughout the hospital. If you have a strong work ethic, an eye for detail,and take pride in delivering exceptional service, this is your chance to bepartof something greater.

What you’ll do:

• Launder Dirty Mops
• Lift Cages of wet mops once laundered
• Collect dirty mops and distribute clean mops back out to zones using cages to transport mops
• Perform daily tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, floor polishing and replenishing supplies within your work area
• Empty waste bins and manage refuse in line with hospital protocols within your work area
• Promote and maintain a safe, healthy environment for all patients, staff and visitors

• Physical capability to carry out cleaning duties across various hospital areas
• A friendly, customer-focused attitude with a willingness to go the extra mile
• A strong commitment to health and safety standards
• Professionalism, integrity, and a neat, presentable appearance
• IT Skills (ability to use excel)
