Your new role

As the Retail Supply Chain Manager, you will act as the central point of contact for all supply chain activity relating to a major retail customer.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and improve supply chain performance.
  • Ensure product availability.
  • Maintain OTIF targets through accurate sales forecasting and effective supplier capacity planning.
  • Lead a team of Supply Chain Controllers, ensuring inventory levels and forward supply align with commercial commitments while minimising working capital.
  • Analyze sales trends, manage stock profiles, advise on purchasing strategies, support promotional planning, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles.
  • Provide financial analysis, support commercial discussions, oversee retail price books, monitor underperforming product lines, and produce weekly reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure performance, training, development, and HR compliance across your team.
Qualifications and experience
  • At least 3 years' experience in a senior supply chain role.
  • Strong experience working within a retail, procurement, category management, or analytical environment.
  • Excellent capability in data analysis, forecasting, and interpreting trends.
  • Proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables and V‑lookups) and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with SAP or MRP systems.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
