We are now seeking a commercially minded Salon Operations & Growth Manager to lead the next stage of our growth.
About the RoleThis is a hands-on, execution-focused leadership role for someone who thrives in building structure where it doesn’t yet exist, improving processes, and helping a growing salon business scale sustainably.
You will work closely with the Founder to turn vision into action, take ownership of priorities, and ensure ideas are delivered consistently and commercially.
You will not be expected to “replace” the Founder or act as a corporate-style COO. Instead, you will be a trusted operational and growth partner who keeps the business moving forward.
This is not a corporate role. It suits someone who enjoys working in an entrepreneurial environment, takes initiative, and is comfortable being accountable for results.
Key Responsibilities- Lead day-to-day salon operations
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, care, and compliance
- Ensure excellent client experience at every touchpoint
- Implement and monitor operational policies and procedures
- Recruit, onboard, and retain high-quality renters
- Manage contracts, conduct, and expectations
- Maintain strong chair occupancy and reduce turnover
- Curate a complementary mix of services and skills
- Grow salon-owned revenue streams (products, events, partnerships)
- Design and deliver profitable events and activations
- Maximise utilisation of space and resources
- Track performance and identify growth opportunities
- Lead social media and local marketing activity
- Build meaningful community and corporate partnerships
- Host networking and engagement events
- Strengthen and protect the Coco Luxe brand
- Build systems, KPIs, and reporting structures
- Improve processes and workflows
- Support the Founder with business development and strategy delivery
- Create a culture of accountability and collaboration
You are commercially aware, organised, and people-focused.
You may come from salon, retail, hospitality, leisure, or SME management.
You are:
- Confident managing independent professionals
- Comfortable with targets and accountability
- Able to set boundaries with empathy and professionalism
- Proactive, reliable, and solutions-focused
- Values-led and aligned with ethical, inclusive beauty
You are not looking for a “support” role.
You want ownership, influence, and the opportunity to build something meaningful.
What We Offer- Salary of £28,000–£38,000 (dependent on experience)
