- Communicate work procedures within the team to ensure that the needs of the service have been met.
- To work with the Outpatients Reception Team to ensure that we achieve any internal key performance indicators.
- Complete Staff PDR's, training, sickness and competencies
- To manage staff in accordance to Trust policies.
- Ensure there is a communication process in place to elevate all training developments to the outpatient teams.
- Supervise any trainees, ensuring that process and procedure are not compromised due to inadequate training
- Identify any training that needs to take place due to patient standards not being adhered to or due to complaints.
- Able to manage frequently changing operational requirements.
- To take responsibility for any patient issues ensuring that all staff do the same.
- To be responsible for sharing examples of good practice and help set up new administration systems if required to improve patient experience.
- Implement policies and
propose changes to practices, procedures in own work area. - The team leader will be required to support where there are any short fall in staffing levels throughout the management team
- The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that their practise and documentation is consistent with the Patient Access Policy and systems are followed as outlined in the Trust Policies & procedures
