Delivery Supervisor

Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Nighttime Transport Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of drivers and pickers, motivating them to achieve daily targets and ensuring the Delivered Department complies with company policy and procedures.

• Oversee the efficient running of a busy delivery operation.
• Lead a team of drivers and pickers, ensuring they meet daily targets.
• Maintain a safe working environment for all colleagues and customers, reporting any Health & Safety concerns.
• Promote and drive brand image through product knowledge and excellent customer service.
• Support the delivery manager in ensuring all vehicles are roadworthy and legally compliant.
• Plan and coordinate tasks to ensure timely completion.
• Communicate important management information to all relevant team members.

• Experience supervising a small to medium sized team in warehouse or transport.
• Experience working in a customer focused environment.
• Management CPC would be advantageous.

Candidates must be over 18 if the role requires working before 6:15 am or after 9:45 pm or involves warehouse, beers, wines & spirits, and driving roles.
