Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead a 3-bed Specialist Therapeutic Home in Stoke-on-Trent. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people within a supportive and professional environment. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing a safe, nurturing environment for children and young people in the Staffordshire setting.
  • Leading and developing a team to deliver high-quality residential care aligned with Ofsted standards.
  • Ensuring all documentation, records, and reports are accurate, organised, and up-to-date for review.
  • Building positive relationships with children, families, professionals, and external agencies to support positive outcomes.
  • Overseeing compliance with the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and maintaining high standards during inspections.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • A Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification or Level 4 Registered Manager Award (or equivalent).
  • At least 3 years’ experience working with children and young people within a residential environment, including 2 years at senior level.
  • Proven experience of Ofsted inspections and working with regulatory standards.
  • A Diploma Level 3 in Children and Young Person’s Workforce or equivalent.
  • Full UK driving licence and the ability to undertake shift work, including sleep-ins and out-of-hours on-call duties.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance and knowledge of safeguarding policies.
