Are you a hands-on Maintenance Engineer who enjoys keeping manufacturing lines running smoothly, solving problems at pace, and making real improvements on site?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business where engineering is genuinely valued. You’ll play a key role in maintaining, improving and supporting a busy production environment, working closely with production and engineering teams.

What you’ll be doing

* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance, routine inspections and breakdown repairs

* Diagnosing faults, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions

* Working with a range of manufacturing machinery, ensuring efficiency and reliability

* Calibrating and adjusting equipment to maintain precision and product quality

* Supporting production teams with equipment set-ups and technical guidance

* Keeping accurate maintenance, repair and calibration records

* Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with H&S regulations

* Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiency gains

* Supporting machinery upgrades, modifications and site improvements

* Providing technical support and training to machine operators where required

What we’re looking for

* A strong mechanical maintenance background within a manufacturing environment

* Experience fault-finding and repairing production machinery

* Knowledge of CNC machinery, extrusion lines or similar automated equipment

* A practical, problem-solving mindset with good attention to detail

* Confident communicator able to work cross-functionally with production teams

* A proactive engineer who enjoys improving how things work
