Our Grocery Service Centre, based near Liverpool, is a hub for transactional activity across multiple ABF companies within the ABF Grocery division. Supporting some of our well-known brands such as Kingsmill, Pataks, Blue Dragon, Jordans, Ryvita and Silver Spoon, amongst others. We deliver Shared Service activities across a wide range of disciplines including Customer Services, Consumer Care, Finance, Payroll, HR and IS.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Manufacturing Team at Allied Bakeries!

• Engage in the Safety First culture and compliance with AB internal policies and procedures
• Ensure staff receive appropriate training, coaching & mentoring
• Identify training gaps for team members
• Deliver quality product to the required standards
• Contribute to the delivery of the production plan
• Ensure own development and training needs are identified. Participate in the proactive environment of learning.
• To actively participate and contribute in the sharing of “Best Practice” within manufacturing.

There is an expectation that any employee within AB demonstrates a flexible and can do approach to their work and may on occasion be required to take part in other areas of the business, to provide resource and expertise as required but also to give the individual opportunity to develop their own skill base and broader knowledge.

• Experience in a leadership role is preferable.
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferable.
• Basic food hygiene certificate (CIEH Level
  2) IOSH or equivalent.
• Computer Literate (understand and interact with HMI screens)
• A genuine enthusiasm for food manufacturing coupled with a resilient and positive attitude is essential due to the nature of the role.
