We are seeking Bakery Operatives to join our production team.

Salary:
Starting at £28,791.60 increasing to £32,172.07 after successful completion of training

Shifts:

Average 42 hours per week. This role operates 12‑hour rotating shifts, on a varied shift pattern, including night work and weekends.

• Engage in the Safety First culture and compliance with AB internal policies and procedures
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety and housekeeping
• Monitor product quality and consistency
• Support the efficient operation of production lines
• Take part in training and development activities, including 1-to-1 sessions
• This is a physically demanding role in a fast‑paced factory environment, so resilience, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential

• Good awareness of Health, Safety and Food Safety
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills, including record keeping and following instructions
• A positive can‑do attitude, with a willingness to learn
• Understanding and application of food hygiene/GMP/(ABSS standards)
• Understanding of baking process
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate IOSH or equivalent
