Role OverviewAs an Electrical Assembly Technician, you will be part of a skilled production team responsible for assembling high‑quality, technically complex systems. Working closely with Manufacturing Engineers and R&D teams, you will play a key role in building next‑generation products while supporting testing, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities- Assemble and wire electrical panels, control boxes, and sub‑assemblies in line with engineering drawings and schematics
- Install electrical components such as relays, switches, circuit breakers, and terminal blocks
- Perform testing including continuity, insulation resistance, and functional checks
- Identify and resolve wiring faults, discrepancies, and build issues during assembly
- Maintain accurate documentation of build activities, test results, and any modifications
- Work in accordance with ISO
9001 quality standards and company procedures - Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve technical issues
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace in line with 5S principles
- Demonstrate company values including Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in electrical or electro‑mechanical assembly
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
- Competence in using hand tools, crimping tools, and soldering equipment
- Good understanding of electrical safety standards and best practices
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- IPC/WHMA‑A‑620 certification (cable and wire harness standards)
- Experience in control panel building, PLC wiring, or control systems
- Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement environments
