Fabricator​/Welder​/Plater

About the role

Hunters 4 Staff are working with an established, family-run engineering company based in Cheadle. They're looking for an experienced Fabricator Welder / Plater to join their team, working with medium to heavy gauge materials. This is a hands‑on role with an immediate start available and the chance to secure a permanent position.

• Fabricating and welding medium to heavy gauge steel components
• Working from and interpreting detailed engineering drawings
• Carrying out MIG welding to a high standard
• Ensuring work meets quality and safety standards
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area

• Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder or Plater
• Strong ability to read and work from engineering drawings
• Experience with medium to heavy gauge welding
• Good attention to detail and a practical approach to work
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Weekly pay
