Assembly Operatives

About the Role

This is a temporary opportunity with potential for long‑term work in the assembly line of a global turbocharger manufacturer.

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Hours:

37 hours per week – Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am – 1:00pm

Location:

Handforth/Cheadle area

• Assemble and disassemble turbochargers to high quality standards.
• Rotate across different production areas to broaden skill set.
• Use hand tools and follow technical drawings and work instructions.
• Perform quality checks throughout the assembly process.
• Record production data accurately and meet production targets.
• Work safely and collaboratively as part of a supportive production team.

• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is beneficial; transferable production experience also considered.
• Experience using hand tools such as drills and screwdrivers.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
• Positive attitude with willingness to learn and adapt.
• Ability to work well within a team and meet production targets.
• Physically fit and comfortable performing manual handling duties.
• Strong awareness of health and safety.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

A successful drug and alcohol test is required before starting employment.
