CNC Machinist

Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Pay: £30,000 - £33,000 (DOE)
Contract: Temp to perm
Hours: Day shift, Monday to Friday with an early finish on a Friday

Hunters 4 Staff are working with a successful, well-established engineering company in Stoke-on-Trent. They re looking for an experienced CNC Operator who can hit the ground running in a busy but well-organised workshop. This is a hands-on role for someone confident in both milling and turning, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position.

The role You ll be working on CNC milling and turning machines, producing quality components to spec and supporting the team with day-to-day machining requirements.

• Operate and adjust CNC machines
• Check finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and safe working area
• Support continuous improvement on the shop floor

• Proven experience as a CNC Milling and Turning Machinist
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable, practical and used to working in a production environment
• Able to start quickly and adapt to an existing team

This role is easily commutable from Newcastle-under-Lyme, Stafford, Crewe, Uttoxeter and surrounding areas. Similar roles may include CNC Machinist, CNC Miller, CNC Turner or Programmer/Setter/Operator.
