Manufacturing Associate

What You Will Do

As a Manufacturing Associate, you will assemble and modify prototype precision units in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for carrying out semi-complex assembly activities, including the setup and use of various fixtures and components, while ensuring all work is completed to the required quality standards. Working as part of a collaborative production team, you will support the delivery of high-quality products by following established processes, maintaining a strong focus on safety, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

How You Will Do It
  • Assemble prototype and production precision units in accordance with engineering specifications.
  • Modify and rework components as required to meet product requirements.
  • Perform semi-complex setup activities using a variety of assembly fixtures and tools.
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet defined standards.
  • Read and follow work instructions, engineering drawings, and manufacturing procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
  • Identify and elevate quality, process, or material issues promptly.
  • Support continuous improvement activities to enhance efficiency and product quality.
  • Work collaboratively with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams.
  • Comply with all health, safety, and environmental requirements.
What We Are Looking For

Required:

  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, or production experience ,hands-on technical experience.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and quality standards.
  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Basic problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience assembling precision, prototype, or electro-mechanical products.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and assembly documentation.
  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement principles.
