The RoleYou’ll play a key role in maintaining production equipment, reducing downtime and ensuring machinery operates safely and efficiently.
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
- Maintaining pumps, motors, gearboxes, mixing equipment and associated machinery.
- Working on automated filling, production and packaging equipment.
- Identifying recurring faults and helping improve equipment reliability.
- Supporting equipment upgrades and continuous improvement projects.
- Working closely with production colleagues to keep operations running smoothly.
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety and housekeeping.
- Previous experience as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
- A recognised engineering qualification, ideally Level 3 or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical skills with good electrical fault-finding ability.
- Experience with preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
- A practical, hands‑on approach to problem-solving.
- A proactive attitude and a commitment to working safely.
- Experience with pumps, motors, gearboxes, automated machinery, PLCs or process equipment would be advantageous.
- A permanent opportunity with an established manufacturing business.
- A varied engineering role working across a range of machinery.
- The opportunity to make a real difference to plant reliability and production performance.
- Competitive salary and benefits.
- The chance to develop your skills within an established engineering team.
