Click Dealer has been operating for over 20 years – originally founded by Gerry, who remains with the business as our Chief Visionary Officer. We provide a range of SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions to independent used car & van dealerships – including websites, dealer management system, and digital marketing solutions. We’ve won multiple awards and have a strong reputation in our industry.

It’s important that all our team members (or ‘Clickers’ as we affectionately call our employees) feel part of our Click family – we want you to feel welcome here.

The role (£26,000)

We're looking for a talented Search Engine Marketing Executive who thrives on delivering results and loves the challenge of multi-channel campaign management. If you're someone who gets excited by data insights, enjoys building genuine client relationships, and takes real pride in creating campaigns that make a tangible difference, we want to hear from you.

In this role, you'll be working with independent car dealers across the UK, helping them transform their digital presence and grow their businesses. Your expertise in PPC and SEO will directly contribute to dealers selling more vehicles, reaching the right customers, and maximising their profitability. It's rewarding work with real-world impact - and we have ambitious plans for growth that we'd love you to be part of.

A

typical week will look like:

You’ll be at the heart of delivering exceptional client work across PPC, SEO, and social media campaigns, with a primary focus on PPC and SEO. This is a role where your strategic thinking directly impacts client success - you'll build strong relationships by understanding their unique needs and creating data-driven strategies that deliver real, measurable results.

Every day, you’ll be hands‑on with campaigns - refining bid strategies, crafting compelling ad copy, optimising feeds, and implementing SEO improvements across multiple client accounts. You’ll dive deep into campaign data, spotting opportunities for growth before anyone else sees them and proactively addressing challenges. From conducting keyword research that uncovers untapped potential to keeping your finger on the pulse of industry trends and competitor activity, you’ll be the strategic voice keeping clients ahead of the curve.

You’ll manage budgets and KPIs with a commercial mindset, ensuring every pound spent drives value. You’ll share your expertise and help develop an apprentice’s skills whilst maintaining excellent client communication. You’ll also collaborate with the wider Digital Marketing team, bringing fresh ideas to the table and contributing to the collective knowledge that makes us successful. While the role focuses primarily on client delivery, you’ll occasionally support onboarding activities, ensuring new clients get off to a flying start.

  • Good understanding of SEO best practices and implementation
  • Solid knowledge of website analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMRush
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Experience in customer service and building client relationships
About you

  • A motivated individual who is ambitious and curious, with a desire to bring new ideas
  • Able to work independently as well as being a team player
